Après des premiers pas en calligraphie japonaise, la rencontre avec la calligraphie latine a été un véritable bouleversement. Elle a marqué un tournant décisif dans mon parcours, comme une évidence longtemps pressentie. À travers elle, j’ai pu embrasser pleinement ma culture, renouer avec une mémoire graphique intime, presque enfouie, à la fois familière et encore à inventer.

À partir de ce moment, le chemin s’est imposé avec force : je n’ai plus jamais regardé en arrière. J’y ai trouvé ma voix. Une manière singulière de parler au cœur des gens, au-delà des mots eux-mêmes. Un espace de liberté inattendu, où la rigueur du geste ne contraint pas mais soutient, où la discipline devient souffle. Là, le signe — parfois lisible, parfois à la frontière de l’abstraction — devient présence sensible. Il s’inscrit dans le temps avec discrétion, mais aussi avec intensité et exigence.

La calligraphie latine est aujourd’hui au cœur de mon travail. Je m’appuie sur les traditions occidentales avec respect, non pour les répéter, mais pour les faire vibrer autrement. Je cherche à les faire évoluer à travers une approche personnelle du geste et de la composition. Chaque lettre devient un territoire vivant, un espace où l’héritage dialogue librement avec mon regard, mon rythme, ma sensibilité.

L’enseignement fait pleinement partie de ma pratique, presque comme un prolongement naturel. Transmettre, c’est partager bien plus qu’une technique : c’est ouvrir un espace. Je souhaite que chacun et chacune puisse s’approprier la calligraphie avec confiance, découvrir sa propre écriture intérieure et laisser émerger sa créativité, à son rythme, quel que soit son niveau.

After my first steps in Japanese calligraphy, encountering Latin calligraphy was a true upheaval. It marked a decisive turning point in my journey, like a long-anticipated revelation. Through it, I was able to fully embrace my culture and reconnect with an intimate graphic memory—almost buried—both familiar and still waiting to be reinvented.

From that moment on, the path asserted itself with strength: I never looked back. I found my voice there. A singular way of speaking to the hearts of others, beyond the words themselves. An unexpected space of freedom, where the rigor of the gesture does not constrain but supports, where discipline becomes breath. There, the sign—sometimes legible, sometimes on the threshold of abstraction—becomes a sensitive presence. It inscribes itself in time with discretion, yet also with intensity and exacting intention.

Latin calligraphy now lies at the heart of my work. I draw upon Western traditions with respect—not to repeat them, but to make them resonate differently. I seek to let them evolve through a personal approach to gesture and composition. Each letter becomes a living territory, a space where heritage enters into free dialogue with my gaze, my rhythm, my sensibility.

Teaching is fully part of my practice, almost a natural extension of it. To transmit is to share far more than a technique: it is to open a space. I wish for everyone to approach calligraphy with confidence, to discover their own inner writing, and to allow their creativity to emerge, at their own pace, whatever their level.
